Captain Neil and Peter were fantastic! We have a family of 5 with 3 kids 10 and under. Everyone caught fish and had a wonderful time. The first 2 fish caught were little sharks caught by the kids! We saw dolphins and a sea turtle. We ended the trip by catching a black tip shark! Such a great experience. Peter fileted put fish and we took it straight to a dock side restaurant and had it cooked for us.

Many thanks to Captain Neil and First mate Jacob for making our 1st ocean fishing trip such a success. To start with his boat is amazing! There was plenty of room for all 5 of us to spread out. Captain Neil did a great job finding the fish and Jacob worked his tail off showing us how to catch them. They make a great team. We caught enough Spanish mackerel to feed a small village. They really wanted us to have an enjoyable trip and we did. I was really impressed that Jacob helped take care of our daughter who wasn't feeling the best. I just can't say enough wonderful things about this charter. We LOVED it!

We had a great time and caught a bunch of fish inshore. Peter was there to help us the whole time and a great fisherman/advice. I would like to go offshore and I will try and use AFC next time. It was too windy to go offshore our fishing day. The boat is clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend and I've done charters like this in many states.

Exceptionally good time and well worth the price. We caught so many fish, we didn't really have time to take trophy photos except the ones at the dock. Fast and furious bites from all kinds of snapper, porgy and others, we were worn out when it was time to go back to shore. Captain Neil was fun and knew when it was time to head back when my father was looking dehydrated. Brandon was on top of everything from bait to answering questions and telling jokes. He even gave my dad his gatorade when he got dehydrated. They provided us with Sea Bands so we didn't get sea sick, which was awesome. We felt well cared for, safe and like they really wanted to see us catch a boatload of fish. We're still working on eating it all over a month later

Great environment and great experience. The Always Fun crew is knowledgeable and extremely experienced in their field. After a couple hours on the water, we caught plenty of food for 5 and had it cooked up at the local restaurant. First mate Nick was a lot of fun to have help us with catching fish and preparing them for dinner.

Amazing experience, read the one star review and that is very false. The captain is not abusive whatsoever to the mate and would never over charge. Captain Neal and one of his first mates Peter gave us a great experience. Super nice and genuine people hard to find these days, highly would recommend this trip as me and 5 of my friends (including my fiancé) all had a blast. The fish were not biting much for any of the boats and they still gave us an experience worth much more than the price. Thanks!

Captain Neil was great and we kept Jacob busy the whole time! Southern kings were biting and we also boated a 4' hammerhead! I couldn't have asked for a better day on the water! Then Jacob cleaned the fish for us while I got to feed the tarpon and play with the pelicans! Highly recommended, and I will be coming back for the crew was great!

Caught fish from the time we stopped and got lines in the water until the time we pulled up to leave. We limited out for the day and the captain and first mate were top notch. Will definitely be back again!

Fantastic family fishing trip! Captain Neil and Nick did a great job with getting us to a good fishing spot and helping my kiddos baiting their lines and removing their catches. We didn’t catch anything too big (cobias) but we caught a lot of them and caught them in quick succession. I’d highly recommend this to anyone with younger kids (less than 12 years old) who are still getting into the fun of fishing. As a side note, a lot of Captain Neil’s apprentices are young men who are training to be firefighters. If you’re in the fire service, help these future brothers out!

Captain Neil and 1st Mate Peter were fantastic. We told them we wanted to catch and release BIG FISH and boy did they listen. We caught Goliath Grouper, Sharks and Amberjack. At the end of the day we were all exhausted but extremely pleased with the days fishing. Captain Neil knows the waters and 1st mate Peter is the best 1st mate I have ever encountered. HIs worked tirelessly to make our trip successful. I highly recommend a trip with Captain and and Peter as your 1st Mate. You will not be disappointed.

This was our first trip with Captain Neil and Always Fun charters, but we will be back. The captain and crew were very accommodating and knowledgeable about where and how to fish for the best results. We were not experienced at fishing, but they made the trip a great time. We caught around 60 fish between the 6 of us. Most of them were catfish with 2 trout, but it was a great time.

I have participated in three of Captain Neil's charters and have never been disappointed. The captain and crew were very accommodating and knowledgeable about where and how to fish for the best results. On most trips we visited a number of locations so when one area slowed we moved onto another. During our last trip the five of us caught around 60 fish of which half were keepers. It was on that trip we pulled in several large grouper the largest being 23 inches long.

Captain Neil and 1st Mate Alex are great! Very clean boat, maintained well. They were very knowledgeable and gave the six of us a great time. A first time experience for a few of us and they gave us a quick lesson on how to fish. Baited our lines and let us do as little or as much as we wanted to catch the fish. They had the correct bait for the time of fish we wanted to catch. I will definitely use them again and recommend them!

Capt. Neal and first mate Alex did a very good job with our six hour trip for a group of four on May 23rd, 2016. They were very organized and friendly and waiting for us so when we arrived we immediately left the marina.. We had them going constantly baiting our hooks and removing fish and we caught a lot of fish out on a reef about a 25 mile ride from Salty Sam Marina. Both Capt and first mate were very patient and willing to teach. It is a very nice and comfortable boat with indoor seating and a restroom. All well maintained and clean. On the way back bird activity was promising so we tried trolling for a while but nothing bit. I appreciated them trying because they were doing there best to make happy customers, which we were. Alex is training to be a captain so he takes his job very seriously like Capt Neal. Also, Alex cleaned and bagged our catch and we had a great meal that evening. Still a lot in the freezer. Capt Neal has a very reasonable rate. It is along way out there so definitely need at least six hours. We caught some large groupers along with an assortment of smaller fish. Even with all their coaching we got, I missed a grouper that would have been huge based on the swallow marks left on the line. Will definitely will use Always Fun Charters again.

Went on a 3/4 day trip with great weather. Had a good time with my buddy and caught a bunch of fish that we kept and had filleted. The mate(Alex) helped us out a lot and taught us really good techniques to use that paid off. He was great at making sure that we had a good fishing trip and answered all of my questions. Captain Neil did great getting us to and from fishing spots . Will do a full day next time because of the good time.
